More than a third of the delegates to the Democratic National Convention that will choose the party’s nominee for President this summer are up for grabs today - on this “Super Tuesday.”
Fourteen states and one U.S. territory are holding contests today - seven of those states in the South including Tennessee, Alabama, North Carolina and Virginia.
Joe Biden won big in South Carolina over the weekend. Since then, Pete Buttigieg, Amy Klobuchar and Tom Steyer have dropped out of the race for the Democratic presidential nomination - so it’s down to Biden, Bernie Sanders, Michael Bloomberg, Elizabeth Warren and Tulsi Gabbard for today’s contests.
