The 6th Cavalry Museum in Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia preserves the military history of the Fighting Sixth Cavalry - featuring memorabilia and relics from the World War II era.
When the pandemic hit, the museum had to close. But soon, it reopened - from Tuesday through Saturdays from 10 AM to 6 PM.
And now, thanks to grant money from a few sources, the museum is moving forward with virtual initiatives and more.
Chris McKeever is the museum’s executive director - and Molly Sampson is its program coordinator.
