At Cempa Community Care, Chris Ramsey served as an advocate for Chattanooga’s underserved communities in the fight against COVID-19.
He was a leader in expanding testing and making more information about the pandemic available to the African-American and other minority communities.
Back in January, he lost his own battle with the virus, at the age 54.
LaDarius Price worked alongside Chris on Cempa’s Faith-Based Health and Wellness Council, now named after Ramsey.
