The Invention Of Latin American Music, Reexamined

Tomorrow at 5 PM on Zoom, the next guest in the Latin American Dialogues Speakers Series on our campus - the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga - will rexamine music, history and identity.

The speaker for the virtual event will be Dr. Pablo Palomino, assistant professor of history at Emory University - and author of “The Invention of Latin American Music:  A Transactional History.”

 

The organizers for the Dialogues series here at UTC are Emma McDonell, visiting assistant professor of anthropology - and Edward Brudney, assistant professor of history.
