Legacybox is a company based here in Chattanooga that takes memories in old media and preserves them in new media.
Business has grown during the pandemic - from people stuck at home who had time to sort through their family films and photos and wanted to convert them to a digital format.
Nick Macco and Adam Boeselager co-founded Legacybox fifteen years ago.
This year, the company added 125 employees, bringing its workforce to more than 300 - while doubling its production space and expanding its headquarters on Holtzclaw Avenue.
Legacybox also now provides an apprenticeship program for students at two nearby high schools in Hamilton County.
I spoke with Nick Macco about all of this - and more.
