John Cowan, vocalist and bass player, has been dubbed "the Voice of Newgrass."
He was a long-time member of the legendary New Grass Revival - and he still tours with The Doobie Brothers.
WUTC's Clark Gibson interviewed Cowan, who his brings his trio to Chattanooga this Saturday - performing with Luke Bulla and Ethan Ballinger at Barking Legs Theater.
