Now on display for Black History Month, the Chattanoogans exhibit at CHI Memorial honors the lives of prominent African-Americans in this city.

The exhibit is the work of students from our campus, the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.

History students researched and wrote the biographical narratives of the Chattanoogans - and then, the art students created the paintings of those figures.

Chyela Rowe is program manager of arts, therapies and wellbeing - and Nicole Brown is manager of community benefits and diversity - at CHI Memorial.
