Thirty years ago, Barking Legs Theater opened on Dodds Avenue here in Chattanooga.
That same year - 1993 - the Tina Turner biopic “What’s Love Got to Do With It?” was released.
On Thursday, starting at 7:30 PM, Barking Legs will present “Nutbush City Limits: A Tribute to Tina Turner in Dance” - one of this month’s events celebrating the 30th anniversary of the concert hall.

Six female performing artists will - quote - “engage in Tina’s music to create their own futures and investigate the importance of place.”
Among them: Monica Ellison.
