“Good Women” is Haile Hill’s debut collection of short stories, delving into the lives of twelve Black women here in Appalachia.

Hill - a native of East Tennessee who now lives in Winston-Salem, North Carolina - visits Chattanooga later this month.

On Thursday, February 22nd, she will appear at ArtsBuild, starting at 7 PM - presented by the literary nonprofit SoLit.

I spoke with Haile - and Chelsea Risley, executive director of SoLit.
