Here in Chattanooga, Keelah Jackson is known as “The Mastercreative.”
She’s a writer, an educator, a singer-songwriter, a mixed-media artist, a model, an actress, a voiceover talent and a motivational speaker.
At the heart of Keelah’s latest work is a new self-help book: “I Am the Gospel of Me.”
Its pages of art therapy, anecdotes of encouragement and moral support are dedicated to affirming the unique worth - and empowering the highest potential - of every single person.
This Saturday, starting at 7 PM, Keelah will present a one-woman show at Barking Legs Theater - featuring singing, storytelling, a slideshow of artwork from the book and a traveling installation of art pieces.
After the Barking Legs show, ArtsBuild will exhibit the pieces - hosting an opening reception on Friday, May 17th starting at 6 PM.
