On a clear night, when you can see the constellations in the sky, the stars can appear ever close and yet ever far.

For Neena Wang, the constellations are “our oldest ancestors.”

Neena is a multidisciplinary artist from Memphis who now lives and works in Los Angeles.

She is the curator of “Celestial Bodies” at Stove Works here in Chattanooga.

The new exhibition opens on Friday with a reception starting at 6 PM - and it will be on display through June 7th.

I spoke with Neena - and Caroline Gikas of Stove Works.
