The Jewish Cultural Center in Chattanooga.

Amit Yagur and Noga Hila Motana live in an area of Israel that shares a bond with the Jewish community here in Chattanooga.

That bond has only deepened since the attack of October 7th, 2023 and its aftermath up to today.

Amit and Noga are among those traveling from Israel to Chattanooga for a dinner on Tuesday, starting at 5:30 PM, at the Jewish Cultural Center at 5461 N. Terrace Rd. - presented by the Jewish Federation of Greater Chattanooga.

Amit is co-founder of EDTECH, an education startup - and a retired lieutenant colonel in the Israeli Defense Forces.

Noga is an author and family consultant who wrote a children’s book for families after October 7th.

I spoke with them - and Michael Dzik, executive director of the Jewish Federation of Greater Chattanooga.
