On the ballot this election day here in Chattanooga is a proposed change to the city charter.
The amendment would lift a residency requirement that City of Chattanooga employees must live in Tennessee.
Chattanooga’s police and fire departments have pushed for the change - and so has Chattanooga Mayor Tim Kelly.
