In the Chattanooga area - and beyond - the McNabb Center is the leading nonprofit provider in this region for mental health, substance use, social and victim services.
On Thursday, April 17th, the Breakthrough Gala - an inaugural gala dinner and art auction - will be held at Parkside Hall in Chattanooga, showcasing artworks created in collaboration between McNabb Center clients and local artists.
Jamie Barks is one of those artists.
I spoke with her and Jack Westbrook, coordinator for the Peer Support Center, under the McNabb Center, here in Hamilton County.
