Here in the Chattanooga area, the Tennessee Valley Chapter of Wild Ones is a nonprofit resource for landscaping with native plants.

One of the Chapter’s programs - the Chattanooga Area Pollinator Partnership - aims to restore pollinator habitats.

The partnership - or CHAPP - offers Seeds of Education grants to local schools to help build butterfly gardens and other pollinator habitats.

This fall, the Chapter will host its first distinguished lecture - Friday, October 3rd - here on our campus, the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.

Angela Dittmar of UTC and Holli Ritchie are board members of the Tennessee Valley Chapter of Wild Ones - and Angela co-chairs the pollinator partnership.
