It’s a celebration of Bessie Smith, the “Empress of the Blues” and Chattanooga’s own - as well as the work of the center that bears her name in the city where she was born.
This Saturday, starting at 6 PM, the Bessie Smith Legacy Gala will be held at The Westin in downtown Chattanooga.
