In another corner of Chattanooga, there’s a park in the making.
A piece of land in Brainerd, a few blocks west of Missionary Ridge, will become Provence Street Park.
The Trust for Public Land and the City of Chattanooga are collaborating with the community on this project.
Before the holiday season, I spoke with David Johnson of the Trust for Public Land - and Nathaniel Bankhead of Wild Violet Permaculture, who is bringing a few innovative techniques to the project.
