Ishmael Reed, born in Chattanooga, wrote a play that satirizes and critiques the musical “Hamilton” and its creator, Lin-Manuel Miranda.
Last year, that play - “The Haunting of Lin-Manuel Miranda” - was performed for the first time in this city at The Howard School.
And now, the play returns - this time to Crabtree Farms this Friday and Saturday, and next Friday and Saturday - with the finale at ConNooga on Sunday, February 22nd.
This production is presented by Lookout Live in collaboration with Next Exit Productions and Scenic City Shakespeare.
Marvin Parks - who plays Ben - is the director.
Amir Andalib portrays Lin-Manuel Miranda.
