(Aired Thu 2/12/26)

How we experience art is accentuated by what surrounds it.

Works by eight artists in the Southeast - from here in Chattanooga and Knoxville to Georgia and Florida - are now on display at the Hunter Museum of American Art.

This evening, starting at 6 PM, the Hunter will host “Vision + Verse: Inviting Words and Motion” - free and open to the public - featuring three poets and a dancer who will respond to the works in the exhibition “The Hunter Invitational V.”

The poets are Kelly Williams, Krantszy Boursiquot and Andreya Toney.

The dancer is Da’Rianna King.

I spoke with the poets - and Adera Causey, the Hunter’s curator of education.
