For this Black History Month, a new celebration arrives in Chattanooga.

The Black Legacy of Arts and Culture Festival - or B.L.A.C. Fest - features Black artistry and live conversation.

The Fest - which runs Friday through Sunday with events at Studio 34 and Barking Legs Theater - is presented by The Pop-Up Project in collaboration with Providence Newson Dance Company and the creative hub SOBI.

Louie Marin-Howard is executive and program director of The Pop-Up Project.

Tarrisha Hicks is the founder of SOBI.
