Nathan Stepney is a Chattanooga artist who explores time and evolution through larger-than-life portraits.

His paintings tell stories of familiarity, capturing emotions so many of us have experienced throughout our lives.

Nathan was recognized at last year’s 4 Bridges Arts Festival as the Bobby Stone Best Emerging Artist.

Ian-Alijah Bey of Chattamatters spoke with him.
