To cultivate a farm, year after year, in a community space takes hard work.
In Southside Chattanooga, there’s an urban farm where a basketball court once stood at The Bethlehem Center, a faith-based nonprofit in the Alton Park neighborhood.
Damon Bartos is manager of The Farm at the Beth.
This spring, I spoke with him and Lillian Moore, at that time The Beth’s director of community impact.
