Tours Of Chattanooga’s Complex Past

This fall, our campus - the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga - has been partnering with two groups beyond UTC on a series of walking tours for members of the campus community.

Prof. Susan Eckelmann Berghel of UTC’s Department of History directs the Africana Studies program here.

Michael Gilliland is board chair for Chattanooga Organized for Action - and a co-creator of the People’s History of Chattanooga project.

Woodson Carpenter is community arts strategist at RISE Chattanooga.
