Chords For A Cause: The WoodSongs Dalton Concerts Are Back
“Music that matters” is the mantra of WoodSongs Dalton. The concert series with an Americana flavor returns with a performance on Saturday, January 28th at the First Presbyterian Church, starting at 6 PM - with a second performance in February and a third in March.

“Shared Legacies” Explores A Civil Rights Era Alliance
It was a pivotal partnership across racial and religious lines during the civil rights movement of the 1950’s and 1960’s. That story is told in the documentary film “Shared Legacies: The African-American Jewish Civil Rights Alliance” - and on Thursday starting at 6 PM, it will be screened at the Bessie Smith Cultural Center here in Chattanooga.

Rhythms And Moves At The Hunter’s “Hip-Hop Fantasy”
As the Hunter Museum of American Art celebrates 70 years here in Chattanooga, there is room for fantasy. The summer exhibition at the Hunter is titled, “Enchanted: A History of Fantasy Illustration” - and one of the programs inspired by the exhibition is a hip-hop performance: “Hip-Hop Fantasy,” tomorrow night at 6 PM.

Building A Future Time Capsule At The Read House
This year, the Read House in downtown Chattanooga is celebrating its 150th anniversary - the longest continuously operating hotel here in the Southeast. Next week, the festivities turn to filling a time capsule - Wednesday, August 17th from 4 PM to 6 PM at the hotel.
