  • Mary Barra will become the new leader of General Motors in January, the company announced Tuesday. The company veteran's tenure as CEO will begin after current leader Dan Akerson retires on Jan. 15.
  • The Eastern U.S. got a second dose of wintry weather as up to 6 inches of snow fell in the region stretching from southwest Virginia to the coast of New England.
  • Trump Hotels was hit again by hackers who broke into the reservations system to take credit card data. TechCrunch says this was the third time the hotel chain's system has been compromised.
  • A letter is being sent to Donald Trump Jr. asking him to testify as early as next week before the Senate Judiciary Committee in an open session. The president's son has said he's willing to testify.
