The Arts Building in downtown Chattanooga.

To create art - whatever the discipline - is a gift.

How to build a career and a business model on that creativity relies on another gift: entrepreneurship.

ArtsBuild - the nonprofit that supports artists here in the Chattanooga area - is now accepting applications for Periscope Chattanooga: Artist Entrepreneur Training, a business development program that connects artists with entrepreneurs.

James McKissic is ArtsBuild’s president.

Monica Kinsey is creative consultant and project manager for ArtsBuild.
