Sundays This September: The Levitt BLOC Chattanooga Music Series

Starting this weekend - and on each Sunday this September - a free, family-friendly outdoor concert series will bring the music to neighborhoods across Chattanooga.

The Levitt BLOC Chattanooga Music Series - BLOC stands for “Building Layers of Community” - is presented by RISE Chattanooga, the Black cultural arts nonprofit, with the City of Chattanooga - supported by the Levitt Foundation and community partners.

The first concert - Sunday, September 1st at 2 PM: Peter Collins - at RISE Chattanooga’s Creative Community Hub at 2901 Taylor Street.

Shane Morrow is executive director of RISE Chattanooga, which will also host the BLOC Music Series in 2025.

Carmen Davis is director of arts, culture and creative economy at the City of Chattanooga’s Department of Parks and Outdoors.
