As the saying goes, a picture is worth a thousand words.

And for a collection of photos taken of everyday life in Paris, those words are just scratching the surface.

The collection: “Paris in the Raw” - recently on display at the Hunter Museum of American Art here in Chattanooga.

The photographer: Garrett Strang, who is from Chattanooga - and about a decade ago, made his home in Paris.
