Interview with Boone Froggett of Otis

From famously known groups such as ZZ Top, Lynard Skynard, and Blackberry Smoke, to more up-and-coming bands, still fighting their way onto the charts, the sub-genre of Southern Rock has been popularized over the last few decades.

Despite there being constant growth and innovation in music, a great deal of Southern Rock still pulls from similar influences, such as blues, country, gospel, and guitar-filled rock n' roll.

Boone Froggett, guitarist and vocalist for the Kentucky-based band, Otis, describes what it's like being a musician during the pandemic, beating thyroid cancer, and his clear path to music.
