The Chicanx Archivist: Carlos Francisco Jackson

What does it mean to be Chicano? When Carlos Jackson realized most of his Latin American students knew nothing of this movement, he used his art to share the story of his and their culture to shed light on what could have been forgotten. On episode 19 of The Soundpainter, Malcolm Key dives into the artworks of Carlos Jackson and creates a sonic exhibit built around Chicano culture.
