As Chattanooga grows and changes in the years to come, how should its suburbs adapt?

What’s called “Retrofitting Suburbia” may provide a guide.

At Georgia Tech in Atlanta, Dr. Ellen Dunham-Jones is a professor of architecture - and directs the master of science in urban design.

Next week, she will discuss “Retrofitting Suburbia for Urgent Challenges” at the CIVIQ speaker series by Chattanooga Design Studio - on Thursday, February 17th at the Camp House, starting at 5 PM.

I spoke with Ellen - and the Studio’s Christina Gibson.
