A few weeks ago, the Urban League of Greater Chattanooga released its inaugural report on “The State of Black Chattanooga.” It chronicles the data - national, state and local - on various gaps and disparities - such as economic, education and health - for Black residents in Chattanooga and Hamilton County, with considerations for community stakeholders - public and private - on how to address them.
“The Book of Will” is a play about preserving William Shakespeare’s contributions to world literature. Written by a Georgia native, the play premieres tomorrow at Artistic Civic Theatre in Dalton. Chase Parker is the director.
Victor Wooten will be jamming for a cause at the end of this month. The Grammy-winning bassist will perform at RISE 2022 - for the Partnership for Children, Families and Adults - on March 29th and 30th in downtown Chattanooga.
