  • Jason Mock is a few weeks into the job as the new president and CEO of the Greater Dalton Chamber of Commerce. A native of Carrollton in West Georgia near the Alabama border, Jason comes to Dalton from Texas, where he served as president and CEO of the San Marcos Area Chamber of Commerce in between Austin and San Antonio.
  • Maclellan Island is an urban wildlife refuge of nearly 20 acres on the Tennessee River in the heart of downtown Chattanooga. On Saturday, April 23rd, the nonprofit Nova Conservation will present “Birding and Boating: A Maclellan Island Adventure” - a bird research and paddle trip to the island, which belongs to the Chattanooga Audubon Society.
