Our campus, the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, will play a major role in shaping the future of quantum computing.
Next week, UTC will host three presentations on that future as part of the Gig City Goes Quantum initiative - which will celebrate World Quantum Day this Friday, April 14th.
The initiative - led by EPB here in Chattanooga and the firm Qubitekk - will prepare for education, jobs and business opportunities in the emerging field of quantum technology.
Dr. Tian Li - who will give his presentation on Friday, April 21st - is an assistant professor of physics here at UTC.
_____
The presentations hosted by UTC take place at the Center for Professional Education in the James R. Mapp Building on campus.
