Pops In Burr Park: Dalton’s Celebration For Independence Day

Next Friday is the Fourth of July.

This Friday in downtown Dalton, starting at 6:30 PM, Pops in Burr Park celebrates Independence Day as part of Off the Rails, the free summer concert series.

Among the performers: The Creative Arts Guild Chamber Orchestra, guest vocalists, dancers from Ballet Dalton and a community kids choir - with a fireworks finale to end the concert.

Smitty Barnett is the Orchestra’s conductor.

Paula Pasqua is the concertmaster and principal violinist for the Orchestra.

Ray is the host and producer of "Scenic Roots" - Mondays through Thursdays at 3 PM - and WUTC's Editorial Director.
