Join WUTC for a live recording with singer-songwriter Jeremiah Harmon
WUTC will host a special live concert and recording on Thursday, January 22nd at 6:00 PM at The Woodshop Listening Room in St. Elmo.
The evening begins with a live performance by Jeremiah Harmon, followed by an on-stage interview with WUTC host Haley Solomon. The performance and conversation will be recorded live for WUTC for future broadcast.
Doors open at 5:00 PM, with the concert and live recording beginning at 6:00 PM.
Guests are encouraged to arrive early to enjoy dinner and drinks at The Woodshop.
Jeremiah Harmon is an American singer-songwriter known for his evocative voice, poetic lyricism, and genre-blending sound rooted in folk, blues, and alternative music. Born in Louisiana and raised in the Bible Belt, Harmon grew up in a deeply musical family and began writing songs as a teenager. Since the release of his debut album in 2020, he has earned recognition from outlets including NPR’s All Songs Considered, Billboard, and Out Magazine. Formerly known as Jeremiah Lloyd Harmon, he has released five studio albums, most recently Stupid Hero, produced by Grammy Award winner Adan Jodorowsky.
Following the performance and interview, Scenic City Soul Night will debut at 8:00 PM, marking the launch of a new weekly concert series at The Woodshop. Led by Chattanooga musician Bryant “Bass Hitter” Russell and his band Bass Hitter & The Prophets, Scenic City Soul Night draws inspiration from 1970s Motown, jazz, and smooth soul, featuring guest vocalists and an intimate listening-room atmosphere.
The Woodshop Listening Room is also home to WUTC’s weekly music program Jhett Black’s Tuesday Bluesday, which is recorded live at the venue and broadcast each Tuesday night at 10:00 PM on WUTC.
Proceeds from the event benefit WUTC and support the station’s mission to serve the Chattanooga community through music, news, and cultural programming.
