A monthly sea shanty singing session at the Don Eaves Heritage Center. First Friday of the month. All ages welcome. Free and open to the public. No talent necessary and songbooks are provided with all the best sea and river shanteys and songs, you know you know at least one sea shanty. even some Irish ones to boot! You'ss sing along, laugh and be left spellbound that we shared an evening of fellowship with a pinch of salt!

Saturday, May 2 is Free Comic Book Day at Infinity Flux! Join us at Chattanooga's largest comics, games, and pop culture store for a day of fun!

The Annual Red Bank Jubilee is a beloved community celebration that brings neighbors, families, and visitors together for a day of fun, connection, and hometown pride. Featuring live music from Luke Simmons and the Lovestruck and The Chickamauga Band, local vendors, food trucks, activities for all ages, and interactive experiences, the Jubilee showcases the vibrant spirit of Red Bank and the people who make it special.

This FREE family-friendly event, is designed for everyone— magicians, bike rodeo, bounce house, petting zoo, face painting and more! It provides an opportunity to support local vendors, enjoy live entertainment, and celebrate the unique culture and creativity of Red Bank.

Whether you’re a longtime resident or a first-time visitor, the Jubilee invites you to come together, celebrate, and enjoy all that Red Bank has to offer.

Join us for a pancake brunch and silent auction to benefit REconnect Nature School's scholarship program. There will be fun and activities for the whole family!

Guild are proud to partner with Claire Davis to present a Spinning Wheel Workshop!
Before textile mills became widespread throughout Northwest Georgia, families from
across the region had to use spinning wheels to turn wool into yarn for the clothing and
other textiles they used in their daily lives. Spinning was such an essential part of daily
life in Northwest Georgia that it became a vibrant and nostalgic symbol of hearth and
home. The spinning wheel workshop will provide students with the opportunity to
participate in a literally homespun Northwest Georgia fiber arts tradition by gaining
hands-on experience learning to spin yarn on a traditional spinning wheel.

This class is a morning session which will last two and a half hours total. Each student
will be loaned a Kromski Prelude spinning wheel and shown how to spin merino wool
into yarn. All necessary equipment and supplies will be provided by the instructor. This
class is suitable for adults sixteen and up; students under eighteen must have an
accompanying adult present at all times. No prior fiber arts knowledge or experience is
necessary.

Join Chef Meghan Lewis for our Breads of Middle Hearth class!
Get cozy and gather around as you bake old-world breads inspired by pastoral villages and wandering travelers. In this class, you'll create savory, sweet, and hearty breads designed for both comfort and adventure.

Scholarships are available for anyone for up to 100% fee coverage for this class, ensuring it is accessible to anyone. If you need a scholarship, please do not register through this site and email us instead.
