All In For Outdoor Learning At Nature Kin

Teacher and children at Nature Kin site.
Nature Kin Farm and Forest School

On a fifty-acre farm at the foot of Raccoon Mountain - just ten minutes away from downtown Chattanooga - a new school where Nature is the classroom opens this month.

Nature Kin Farm and Forest School will provide outdoor learning for children ages nine to eleven.

The founder is Dr. Jean Lomino, founder and former director of the Wauhatchie School.

I spoke with her - and Clark Brewer, Jr., the founder of Huemans Outdoors, a program that introduces people of color to the outdoors.
