This interview begins with a conversation with Randy Shipp.  "A Smile To Remember" event is a memorial walk to honor Randy's late wife Darlene Shipp who succumbed to ovarian cancer.  We also spoke with Nurse Practitioner Victoria Brumlow withChattanooga's Program in Women's Oncology.  According to Brumlow, there is no reliable screening process for ovarian cancer and there are no distinct symptoms.  Some indicators of potential ovarian caner include: abdominal pain, indigestion, loss of appetite, bloating, urinary frequency, fleeing full quickly, altering constipation and diarrhea, lower back pain, sudden weight loss, and.or vaginal bleeding.
