Streets As Places In Downtown Chattanooga

Back in May, the City of Chattanooga began working with restaurants and retail stores on how to boost their capacity safely during the coronavirus pandemic.

The Chattanooga Department of Transportation - or CDOT - started a pilot program called “SPROUTS” - “Streets as Places:  Reimagining the Outdoors.”

Earlier this month, I spoke with CDOT’s Cate Irvin about the program,  before the mask mandate was announced for Hamilton County.
