This summer, as Chattanooga and Hamilton County celebrate the 250th anniversary of the United States of America, a new chapter will open in how this community tells its story.

The Chattanooga-Hamilton County History Experience - located at the corner of Broad and 3rd Streets - will present original films on local history, interactive exhibits and student storytelling.

Thanks to a partnership with Dynamo Studios, public school students in Hamilton County will work with professional filmmakers on the films.

Three volunteer advisors are sharing their perspective as the project takes shape: John Edwards, owner of The Chattanooga News Chronicle; Linda Moss Mines, Chattanooga and Hamilton County Historian - and Tom Griscom, former White House Communications Director under President Ronald Reagan and former executive editor and publisher of The Chattanooga Times Free Press.

Linda and Tom stopped by our studio.
