(Aired Weds 3/25/26)

The first community plan for historic preservation in Chattanooga dates back to 1977.

Now, nearly fifty years later, Preserve Chattanooga - the historic preservation nonprofit in this city - is preparing to launch the process to craft a new plan.

The launch takes place at “Perspectives” - an event hosted by the nonprofit on Thursday, April 30th at Waterhouse Pavilion, starting at 5 PM.

The featured guest: Bonnie McDonald, president and CEO of Landmarks Illinois, her state’s leading voice for historic preservation.

Todd Morgan is executive director of Preserve Chattanooga.
