Where Bluegrass Meets Ballet: “Cinderella + Bluegrass” At UTC

Bluegrass meets ballet here on our campus, the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.

This Thursday through Saturday, Chattanooga Ballet presents “Cinderella + Bluegrass” at the Roland Hayes Concert Hall in UTC’s Fine Arts Center: first, a one-act version of the fairy tale Cinderella - and then, a world premiere ballet set to the bluegrass music of Randy Steele and High Cold Wind, live on stage.

I spoke with Brian McSween, the Ballet’s CEO and artistic director - and Randy Steele.
