Last week, we saw glimpses of what the Franklin-Roberts Future Ready Center in downtown Chattanooga will look like.
Hamilton County and the Hamilton County Schools released design renderings for the new career and technical education hub for high school students that will be built at Gateway Avenue and West M.L. King Boulevard.
The center will also offer a new entrepreneurship pathway for students - and house the county’s small business incubator program.
Right now, that program is located on the North Shore - at the County’s Business Development Center on Cherokee Road.
Some of the small businesses in the program have expressed concerns about a move out of their current space, as the County Commission considers putting the BDC building up for sale.
