This month is packed with sports across Chattanooga and Hamilton County - from bass fishing to local championships for baseball, softball and tennis to Ironman.

And next month, during the World Cup, Chattanooga will host the base camp for the Spanish national team at The Baylor School.

Tim Morgan is president of The Sports and Events Corporation, the community sports commission for Hamilton County.
