Last week, The Chattanooga Free Press was sold to local owners Craig Fuller and his father Max.
They purchased the paper from WEHCO Media and the Hussman family, based in Arkansas.
Craig Fuller is the CEO and founder of FreightWaves, SONAR and Firecrown Media here in Chattanooga.
Over the years, the Fuller family has also founded or run other local firms - among them, U.S. Xpress, Covenant Transport and Transcard.
