A free, three-part gardening series will begin on Monday, April 13, 2026 at 6:00 pm at the South Bay Seventh-day Adventist Church, 4605 Redlands Dr, Chattanooga, TN 37416.

The first part on April 13th will focus on the basics of gardening and why attendees should grow their own food.

The second part on June 22 at 6 pm will focus on raised bed gardening.

The third part on July 13th at 6 pm will focus on fall gardening and extending the growing season.

The series will be facilitated by Gabriel McClover, chair of the Adventist Agricultural Association. A complimentary copy of the book “Every day Gardener” will be provided to participants who attend all three sessions of the gardening series, while supplies last.

The event is sponsored by the South Bay Seventh-day Adventist Church to encourage community residents to live healthier lives through exercise, plenty of sunshine, spiritual growth, and a vegetarian, plant-based, whole foods diet.
