Booksellers Barnes and Noble have teamed up with the Urban League of Greater Chattanooga to collect books that will be wrapped up and delivered as holiday gifts to children participating in the Urban League's after school programs. The annual Barnes and Noble book drive invites the community donate books for children.
Area teachers have provided a list of books that can be accessed at Barnes and Noble for people that desire to donate books. Families and youth are encouraged to chose their own favorite books to donate at the check out stand at Barnes and Noble. Some of the books will become part of libraries for children in the after school programs at local schools.
