UTC Community Honors Luther Masingill

Dr. Betsy Alderman, Head of the UTC Department of Communication, remembers local broadcasting legend Luther Masingill. Known simply as “Luther,” Masingill began his decades-long career at Engel Stadium and was on air during both the attacks on Pearl Harbor and on September 11. He passed away at the age of 92 on October 20, 2014. Alderman holds a professorship at UTC named after Masingill.  Watch the video to hear remarks.
