Props - rather than your muscles - are used to support your body, and practitioners call it an excellent antidote for stress.
Cypris Birkel and Suzanne Sabourin are two practitioners here in Chattanooga who together have created a new class - called “Healing Touch Restorative Yoga.”
It combines restorative yoga with other healing practices - including Shiatsu massage, meditation and aromatherapy - just to name a few.
